Please submit a CV, a description of past and future research interests, and the names and contact information for three references. In your research statement, please indicate what kinds of research questions you are interested in pursuing in our lab and why you are excited about our research.
Graduate Students
The Poe lab is affiliated with the Department of Biological Sciences (https://biology.uark.edu/) and the Interdisciplinary Cell and Molecular Biology (CEMB) Graduate Program (https://cell.uark.edu/) at the University of Arkansas. If you’re interested in a graduate (M.S. or Ph.D.) position, please contact Dr. Poe to see if there are any openings before submitting your application. Undergraduate Students
We welcome undergraduate researchers to participate in our research program. We especially encourage students who can commit at least two full years to research to apply (including freshmen and sophomores). Interested students should a 1-2 paragraph statement about why you want to work in our lab.
